A description of the cavalry who make up the Blork'jvarr cerri

Lukash Gralk—Lukash is Cavalryman, skilled in combat and the fastest rider of the cerri. He is affable and passionate with a deep love of animals and especially his mount, a coal gray stallion named Khangair who is among the fleetest beasts of the cavalry. Indeed, if one thing earns Lukash's ire, it is the mistreatment of animals; he is also easily angered if any his gear is taken from him.

Lukash carves fetishes and other items from bone; he sometimes braids these into his mount's mane or wears them on leather thongs. Lukash is a friendly and open ork when not provoked, less quarrelsome than many Cavalrymen but still fierce-hearted and bold.

Lukash wields a spiked mace and is also accurate with his short bow (which he mainly uses for hunting), as well as throwing a mean spear. He tends to ride directly into the melee in combat, relying on his riding skills and training as a Cavalryman. In battle he wears hide armor crafted from the skin of a huttawa, a lion-like animal with a head like a furred eagle.

Rhamoskell Urusk—Rhamoskell is a Troubador, which is unusual in a cerri. He is by far the most affable of the riders, full of fire and passion, able to spin a tale to bring tears of sorrow or gales of laughter. He is fiercely dedicated to following his passions and the ways of Mera-a-a-arg; indeed, he becomes enraged at those who would scoff at the Passion of art and inspiration, and has difficulty resisting the siren call of love. He is definitely the heart of the cerri.

Rham often paints designs on his face and body to reflect his moods and before going into combat. He's likely to unleash some orkish war cry and boast as he flings himself into combat. His friends have learned to let his passions flow, for he is loyal and fierce and tries to follow the path of true "orkishness."

Though he is dedicated to telling tales and keeping the history of the orks, he is also a dangerous foe, wielding a traditional orkish flail in combat and riding his high-spirited mare, Zarat'uluvar. He is normally hard into the fray in any battle.

Erach Wayfinder—Earach is a Scout, able to find the way through wilderness or city with equal ease. He is used to being alone but is very dedicated to the cerri. He is skilled in navigating and mapmaking and knows a great deal about the wilds. Though he is usually even-tempered, he is easily angered when he sees the wanton destruction of nature or if someone lies to him.

Erach spends much time in the wild, scouting out the way for the cerri, and keeps his thoughts to himself most of the time. He is perceptive and reliable; hence the moniker he was granted upon gaining First Circle in his Discipline.

Erach rides a blood bay mare named Noriika, a swift and patient mount that is excellent at picking her way across difficult terrain. He wields a broadsword in combat and wears a set of leopard hide armor; he is courageous but a light combatant and tries to leave the heavy fighting to the others.

Mirgriss Khull—Mirgriss is a Nethermancer, one who walks the borders between life and death. She is a strong-willed and very perceptive ork who often keeps to herself; some others treat her with fear, which she sometimes uses to her advantage. She is easily enraged by the desecration of holy places, as well as insults leveled at her person.

Mirgriss is well versed in the rituals and rites of orkish life. She also knows much about the ways of Horrors and keeps a sharp watch out for signs of their influence, and often tells baleful tales of their exploits. Among her others skills, she can heal injuries and treat illness. Mirgriss is a competent tattoo artist as well.

Mirgriss rides a pale white mare named Iwik'ija. In combat, she attacks with a variety of dangerous spells, injuring foes with dark energies or making enemies writhe in invisible pain. She also carries a mace and can wield it with some skill. During battle, she usually stays away from the melee and casts her spells from distance.

Unzija Ti'jad—Unzija is an Archer, trained in the demanding way of the bow. Through her training and her natural inclination, she is blunt and dedicated, always seeking to cut to the heart of the matter.

Unzija is a woodworker of some skill, often crafting her own arrows and carving designs into them. She is extremely perceptive and analytical, balancing all observations to find the crux of the issue. Her directness can be off-putting, but she is loyal and warm if allowed to be.

Unzija rides a small, light brown stallion named An'zeytu. Though she carries a broadsword, she is far more skilled and deadly with her carved longbow, and in combat tends to stick to the outskirts, firing at targets of opportunity. Though she is generally self-controlled, Unzija is very sensitive to mention of the Therans (her parents were killed by Theran slavers), and her high personal standards are sometimes difficult to live up to.

Patajma Omurek—Patajma the Bold is not actually a member of the Blork'jvarr cerri, but she was the ork who trained the riders to work as one. Part of the Blood Oath cerri in her youth, Patajma has since taken to training others in the ways of the cerri, those bonds that bind like family.

Let none think that because she no longer rides as a Warrior with the Blood Oath that Patajma has lost any of her fierceness or strength. She showed the riders to play to their strengths, to support one another both in and out of battle, and how to overcome those differences that exist among them. The cerri members are dedicated to her, and though she treats the riders with the stern gruffness of a disciplinarian dramar, she is dedicated to their success.

"We are still slaves if we do nothing with our freedom."
